Route order is based on geographic proximity to minimize travel time between properties, with commercial and high-priority clients cleared first, followed by residential properties. During Heavy Storms
Northern Ontario can deliver intense winter storms that drop heavy snow continuously for 12 to 24 hours. During these events, our crews run multiple passes through their routes rather than waiting for the storm to end. This means your driveway may be cleared more than once during a single storm — an initial pass to keep it passable, and a final cleanup pass after the snow stops. During exceptionally heavy storms, there may be a delay in reaching every property for the first pass, but our goal is always to keep you accessible throughout the event.
Communication During Snow Events
If conditions are extreme and service timing will be significantly delayed, Martin Services communicates with clients proactively. We would rather give you an honest update about timing than leave you wondering.
